Stepper motor running current and subdivision drive settings

The stepper motor defaults to one step to 1.8° angle, 360/1.8=200 pulses, so the stepper motor defaults to 200 pulses, but in some mechanisms the precision is high, 1.8° is not suitable, so there is The subdivision settings on the drive, for example, a 1000 (or 5) subdivision on the drive, that is, the angle is reduced by 5 times, that is, 1.8/5 = 0.36, which means that the angle of the motor is 0.36° per step.
This precision is increased by a factor of five. The current, the stepper motor has a rated current, for example, the rated current of a click is 4A, if you select 2.25A on the drive, then the motor’s strength can not reach its original torque, but you set it to 5A Although the strength is large, the relative motor heat is also increased. The current setting needs to be set according to the actual situation.
Generally, a small load has a low current and a small current, while a high load requires a large current.
There are no mathematical formulas, which are all set according to the actual situation.
